The IEFGP SUPCAMPUS, directed by Jean No\u00ebl VEDERE, was created in 2011 to offer the Licence Professionnelle Droit, Activit\u00e9s Juridiques, mention g\u00e9n\u00e9alogiste successoral, under agreement with the Universit\u00e9 de Cort\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the discontinuation of this Licence Professionnelle in 2017, and to replace the only existing university degree, IEFGP SUPCAMPUS has set up a European Bachelor’s degree (BAC + 3) in Law, Legal Attach\u00e9s, notarial professions, genealogy, wealth management and financial advice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Consultations with professionals have enabled the diploma to evolve towards the notary’s profession, the historical and privileged partner of probate genealogists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our partnerships with SEPTEO, developers of the G\u00e9napi software, and HARVEST, developers of the Bigexpert software, guarantee the quality of our students’ technical training and their integration into the world of work.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

The Bachelor’s degree is accredited by E.A.B.H.E.S (a European certifier), enabling 180 ECTS to be obtained and the diploma to be recognized at European level.<\/p>\n\n

More recently, it has also been awarded a state-recognized title (RNCP 38109), giving it additional national recognition.<\/p>\n\n

The course can be taken face-to-face or by distance learning, on an initial or sandwich course.<\/p>\n\n

The European Academy of Genealogy offers the first training course in family genealogy to be run entirely by industry professionals. In December 2020, it became the first structure of its type to be Qualiopi-certified.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Its aim is to provide future professionals with the tools, methods and skills needed to carry out research, mainly in France but also abroad, while ensuring the rigor of the approach and respect for ethical and deontological rules.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Under the guidance of their tutors, trainees are required to write two dissertations: one to demonstrate their mastery of research sources and the way they are formatted, and the other as the culmination of their reflections on their professional installation. These dissertations will be defended before a jury of professionals.<\/p>\n\n

The 16-month training course involves three training sessions in Mutzig. Two compulsory internships validate the training: one in a company and one in the archives.After training, the EAG monitors its trainees and provides support for those setting up in business.The EAG is also involved in continuing education for established genealogists, with a range of short courses.<\/p>\n\n
